Sustainable Design Consulting, LLC (SDC) helps developers, architects and builders create more environmentally sensitive structures and settings. Headquartered in Richmond, Virginia and with a DC-area office, SDC provides expert project-specific and general consulting on planning, site design, water, energy, materials and indoor environmental quality issues for sustainable design and operations.
Position Overview:
SDC has immediate need in our Richmond, Virginia office for a Project Manager. This position reports to the Principal in the Richmond office.
Qualifications:
Canidate must be degreed in and having a minimum of 8-10 years experience in the building industry. Candidates must be knowledgeable in commercial green building principles and practices and have played a primary role in a minimum of 2 LEED® projects.
Candidates must have strong management and communication skills with the ability to create and lead internal and external training sessions for all skill levels. Candidates from mechanical engineering or facilities management backgrounds encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will effectively manage multiple consulting projects and team members while playing an integral role in the design and implementation of training programs.
